As a Maintenance Engineer, you will ensure that all equipment in the warehouse continues to function optimally. You play a crucial role in the maintenance and repair of various systems within the cold store.

Your working day:
You start the day with a short briefing and a check of the maintenance software. You then carry out preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of conveyors, cooling systems and automated cranes. In between, you will test fire protection systems and ensure that all equipment keeps running safely and efficiently. Thanks to your expertise, everything in the warehouse runs smoothly!

Your duties:

• Perform maintenance on conveyors, automated cranes, refrigeration systems and fire protection;
• Testing systems such as fire extinguishing systems, fire alarms and ammonia alarms;
• Report, plan and track maintenance activities in maintenance software (Ultimo);
• Perform general maintenance and minor repairs to buildings.

Working hours:
You will work in a 5-shift schedule (40 hours per week):

• Early shift: 06:00 - 14:00;
• Late shift: 14:00 - 22:00;
• Night shift: 22:00 - 06:00.
• You will work 2x early, 2x late, 2x night and then have 4 days off.

We are looking for a technically savvy and flexible Maintenance Engineer for this position:

• Several years of experience in industrial maintenance;
• Experience with PLCs is a plus;
• Good technical insight and problem-solving skills;
• Willingness to occasionally work at height;
• Working in a 5-shift operation is not a problem for you;
• Command of the Dutch or English language.
