You step into the warehouse, the cool air meets you. While the pallets are automatically unstacked by the robot, you are already on your way with your reach truck to put new stock in the right place. Meanwhile, you keep a sharp eye on whether everything is correct: are the products complete, at the right temperature and neatly labeled? As a logistics employee position, you will have a versatile role within the refrigerated warehouse. You will load and unload goods, check incoming and outgoing products and ensure that stock is neatly replenished. Using a reach truck and forklift you will transport pallets to the correct locations and pick orders using a hand scanner. You also work with an automatic robot that unstacks pallets; you keep an overview and intervene where necessary.
You work in a refrigerated environment, so hygiene, structure and safety are crucial. You will receive your planning per week and you can be deployed in the Receiving or Coldstore departments, depending on how busy it is. Thanks to the clear structure, you always know where you stand.

Although fast delivery is paramount, cold storage is sometimes unavoidable, especially when it comes to additional operations such as repackaging or labeling. To this end, Distrifresh has set up special cold storage areas where all processes meet strict food safety standards.
