As an Export Forwarder you are the key person in the international transport process. You keep an overview, make adjustments where necessary and make sure that goods find their way quickly and efficiently.
As Transport Planner Export, you will be responsible for the smooth running of the entire export transport process. You outsource transport orders to subcontractors and ensure that export work is carried out correctly, timely and completely. You receive and monitor transport orders, prepare the daily planning and make adjustments when necessary. In doing so, you continuously keep an eye on costs and efficiency.
You maintain active contact with subcontractors and shipping companies, coordinate daily with colleagues about cargo and order supply and liaise closely with sales and warehouse. Administratively you take care of correct recording and archiving of documents, handle complaints and analyze together with the team leader how planning processes can be smarter and better.
