Ripening Officer

What will you do?

As Ripening Officer, you are the director of the ripening process. You keep a close eye on everything and ensure that our products are perfectly ripe and of top quality at exactly the right time. You interact a lot with different teams and together ensure that our customers can always count on taste and quality of a high level.

After an introductory period, you will work on your own by making (automated) ripening schedules based on orders. You ensure that the right quantity, in the right quality, is ready for the customer exactly on time. You help with loading and unloading and check that only products that meet all quality requirements leave the door. No doubt, only top quality.

You are in constant contact with internal teams and external partners, such as suppliers, about orders, schedules and inspection results. Does something go differently than planned? You are able to communicate quickly with the managers, think of solutions and come up with smart ideas to make the ripening process even better.

Job requirements

What are you taking with you?

You are in possession of MBO working and thinking level.
Experience in a logistics or manufacturing environment is desired.
Shift work is not a problem for you and you are open to working weekends or holidays. It is also nice if you are a morning person, as your shift starts between 04:00 and 05:00.
Knowledge of the Dutch and English languages
Good communication skills and able to work as part of a team.
In possession of own transportation (due to company location) and available 40 hours.
