What will you do?

As QA & Sustainability Officer you are responsible for food safety as well as sustainability initiatives. You draw up policy, carry out risk inventories, take samples and perform internal audits to ensure that work is done in accordance with the applicable hygiene and food safety regulations. You also keep the quality manual up-to-date and intervene in case of deviations, communicating clearly internally.

Sustainability is an important part of your role. You implement sustainability strategies together with external partners, act as a central point of contact for CSRD and ensure that reports meet applicable requirements. You analyze the CO₂ emissions of the organization and the chain, identify reduction opportunities and initiate improvement initiatives. You also coordinate and support quality and sustainability projects, instruct employees and conduct supplier inspections. Thanks to you, customers can confidently rely on the quality and sustainability of the products.

Job requirements

You can join our team if you:

Have a completed college education
Preferably have at least 4 years of experience in a position focused on sustainability
Works independently, proactively and in a structured manner
Strong analytical skills and experience with reporting and policy development
Accurately communicates and easily interacts with various stakeholders
Good command of Dutch and English, German is a plus
Possesses own transportation due to the location
