Production work

What production functions are there?

In a production position, you will be responsible for the entire process related to producing a new product. Think of the preparations for the process, working on the assembly line and checking the quality. For a Production Manager/Work Foreman position, you will be responsible for leading a team and making schedules.

At Job Invest, we have many different production positions. You can work as a Production Assistant on the line. Rather manage a team? Then a role as Production Manager or Cooperating Foreman will suit.

As a Work Planner, you arrange all materials, forms and registrations. And in the position of Quality Officer, you monitor the process and make sure everything is going well.

Below are some of our production features:

Machine operator

As a machine operator you operate, adjust and check machines in the factory. You fix minor malfunctions yourself and call in technical service for larger problems.

Cooperating foreman

As a cooperating foreman, you manage the production department and supervise the process. You cooperate, monitor progress and regularly coordinate with other departments and the manager.

Production employee

As a production worker you work in the production process, for example on the assembly line, in a warehouse or with machines. Often you do not need any specific education and you can follow internal training. You can work for a variety of companies, including our top employers Elho, CURTEC, TOBROCO-GIANT and SPS.

Line manager

As a line manager, together with operators and packing employees, you ensure that the production process runs smoothly and objectives are met. You are the linchpin on the shop floor and contribute to a pleasant working atmosphere.

Production Manager

As a production leader, you will lead a team on the shop floor and ensure that the production process runs smoothly. You are the point of contact for colleagues and take responsibility. Appropriate training or relevant experience is often required.

Packing employee

As a packer, you will pack, label and prepare products for shipment. You often perform repetitive operations and are responsible for the final part of the production process.

Work Planner

As a work planner, you ensure that projects run smoothly by preparing tasks, creating working drawings and schedules, and purchasing materials. 

Quality Officer

As a quality employee, you will monitor the quality of the production process and handle complaints and deviations. You maintain contact with suppliers and work with the quality manual. For this position you can follow training or courses at different levels.

Assembly worker

As an assembly worker, you assemble parts on an assembly line into a complete product. This process, also called final assembly, is the final step in production.

Facility employee

As a facilities assistant, you will take care of a wide range of tasks, from cleaning and maintenance to providing lunches and managing supplies. The exact package varies by organization.
