Do you have a steady hand behind the sewing machine and an eye for detail? Then become our new Confectionist!
We are looking for someone who not only can stitch straight, but also likes variety in their work. Here you work with technical materials, from industrial vacuum cleaner bags to filters and Velcro bed sheets. Might sound a little stuffy, but believe us: there's just so much going on here.

What will you do?

What will you do?
One day you're stitching a filter hose or an industrial bag with a special flange. The next day you'll be putting on a cuff, collaborating on bed sheets with Velcro, or preparing boxes for shipping. You'll work with sturdy, industrial sewing machines (think: Adler and Pfaff) and get the chance to master many different jobs. No assembly line work, but nice and varied work you can be proud of.

Specifically:

Stitching technical fabrics into bags, hoses or sleeves;
Collaborate on filters, dust bags and textile products;
Packing, stacking, wrapping, infolding, strapping - everything to prepare products for shipment;
Occasionally pitch in with a machine or colleague;
And above all, be all-round employable, so the work never gets boring.

Job requirements

Who are you?

You can handle a sewing machine and preferably have experience with industrial models;
You work precisely - a crooked stitching here sometimes means a leaking filter, so we don't go for that;
You live a maximum of 30 minutes travel time from Zaltbommel;
You speak (or understand) Dutch - other languages are no problem, as long as we understand each other;
You are looking for a permanent position for an extended period of time;
And whether you want to work 32 or 40 hours, we can arrange that.

You will be working at a technical manufacturing company in Zaltbommel, active in a surprisingly broad field. From air and liquid filtration to nickel alloys for the chemical industry, from cathodic protection for underground pipes to precision fabric for the process industry. What all these things have in common? That they produce them with care, craftsmanship and a good dose of down-to-earthness - with 55 colleagues who love their profession and their freedom.
