Facilities Employee

To expand our housing team, we are looking for someone who will inspect the housing of our temporary workers and, where necessary, immediately take care of minor repairs and practical support tasks.

What will you do?

In this role, you are responsible for safeguarding and improving the quality of housing facilities for temporary workers. You structurally monitor the condition of houses and residential complexes and ensure they continue to meet all applicable standards, including the SNF standard. You maintain continuous oversight of the entire housing portfolio and identify deviations or defects in a timely manner.

During inspections, you check various homes and complexes for quality, safety, and cleanliness. Major defects are reported immediately, while minor issues are handled and resolved quickly and independently whenever possible. You carry out simple repairs and practical maintenance tasks yourself. When specialized technical work is required, you submit it through the digital system to your technical facilities colleague and monitor the progress.

You accurately record your findings and inspection reports in the digital system. You also actively contribute ideas for practical improvements and quick operational wins to further optimize processes and housing quality. In addition, you manage the stock of facility supplies and ensure they are replenished on time and distributed across the different locations.

Job requirements

What you bring:

  • Relevant work experience and knowledge of facility services and housing
  • Strong perseverance and the ability to set a disciplined example for colleagues
  • Experience in assessing facility-related situations and communicating about them with colleagues
  • A structured way of working
  • Good command of English (spoken and written) combined with one of the following languages: Romanian, Polish, Spanish, or Portuguese
  • Proficiency in Dutch or the willingness to learn Dutch
  • A valid category B driver's license

Every day, approximately 2,500 motivated temporary workers are employed through Goodmorning B.V. at client companies in greenhouse horticulture, the food sector, logistics, and engineering.
