You adjust machines effortlessly, solve breakdowns quickly and safely, and make sure colleagues know exactly what is expected of them. For this company we are looking for a technical and structured Machine Operator who likes to work in an environment where quality, safety and continuous improvement are key.

What will you do?

As a Machine Operator, you are responsible for efficiently setting up, converting and operating the production machines. You continuously monitor the quality and quantity of the output, perform quality measurements and intervene in a timely manner in case of deviations. You solve malfunctions independently or transfer them to the technical service when necessary.

You will also be involved in managing and supervising production workers on your line. You ensure that the safety rules are strictly observed and that the workplace always remains clean and orderly. You also take an active part in improvement projects and think along about optimizations within the production process. You contribute to a safe, hygienic and efficient working environment.

In this position, you will work 3 shifts: 07:00 - 15:00/ 15:00 - 23:00/ 23:00 - 07:00.

Job requirements

What do you bring?

  • Minimum MBO work and thinking level, preferably supplemented by a technical degree
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment as an operator or machine operator
  • Your command of the English language
  • You are technically literate and can change gears quickly in case of breakdowns or process changes
  • In possession of a forklift certificate or willing to obtain one
  • You have knowledge of or work fluently with systems such as MS Office (Word and Excel)
  • You work accurately, independently and have an eye for safety and quality
  • Willingness to work shifts if requested
