Then this position as Terminal Assistant Logistics is for you. You ensure that the transshipment between train, ship and truck runs smoothly and that the site is always neat and safe.
As a Terminal Clerk, you will support the entire logistics process in the field. You will help with loading, unloading, processing and storage of goods and support transshipment processes between trains, ships and trucks. Think of opening and closing valves, connecting pipes and checking loads. You keep equipment, PPE and tools clean and ready for use and ensure that everything is well prepared so that processes can run smoothly. In addition, you actively contribute to a safe and tidy terminal, spotting deviations and contributing ideas for improvements.
You will work at a logistics terminal where different types of goods are handled daily, such as animal feed raw materials, steel and paper. You will work in a small, close-knit team with machinists and process operators. Together you will ensure a safe, efficient and representative working environment. Working together, taking responsibility and thinking ahead are key here.
