As a Customs Declarant, you will draw up export documents as if you have never done anything else, arrange legalizations with authorities such as the Chamber of Commerce and NVWA, and meanwhile keep a sharp eye on incoming shipments. While others are wondering where the delay is coming from, you already know which carrier is the smartest choice, how much it costs and when the trucks have to load and unload.
A customer calls about a damaged delivery? You switch gears, make arrangements and ensure that everything is neatly resolved. You also keep an overview of the files, provide reports for the CBS (yes, that one too), and communicate smoothly in both Dutch and English. In the meantime you identify areas for improvement in our processes and have the courage to come up with ideas for an even smarter approach.
