Finisher

You walk through the workshop, the smell of freshly sanded plastic in the air, and in your hand a part that is just a little too rough. You know what to do. Sand, polish, filler - you fix it until it's mirror-smooth. Why? Because you take pride in your work. No speck, edge or bump escapes your eye. You are a Finisher. Or if you don't yet have an official title: someone with skills, precision and a love of perfection.

What will you do?

 As a Finisher, you are the one who transforms raw plastic parts into sleek, shiny finished products. You start by sanding until every surface feels like satin. Then you get to work polishing so that each part shines with pride. See an imperfection? Then grab your putty knife and touch it up with surgical precision. Careful masking of parts is also part of the job, so they are completely ready for the next step in the production process. Are they ready? Then you lay them neatly ready for transport or further processing. Sometimes you glue parts together, but always with a steady hand and an eye for detail. In short: you ensure that everything looks tiptop before it goes out the door.

Job requirements

Who you are (or at least look like)
Experience as a finisher? Fantastic.
No experience but a furniture maker, interior designer or one of those types who lovingly builds a cabinet at home that would make IKEA blush? Also perfect.

What we are mainly looking for is:

  • Two right hands (figuratively ... literally may also);
  • Accuracy that's almost scary;
  • Someone who likes to do the job neatly and carefully.

The company

The company

This company is a specialist in plastics. Really - when it comes to injection molding and smart plastic solutions, they know exactly what they are doing. At this company, they make commissioned plastic enclosures and technical parts that you'll find in medical devices, aircraft interiors or high-tech systems, for example. But it doesn't stop there: they paint, assemble, print logos or texts, and think about design and manufacturability from the beginning. The dies? They simply develop them themselves. Smart, precise and always in consultation with the customer. Their strength lies in combining technology with practice, and they do this for brands that are only satisfied with top quality.
